Halloween 2021 is almost upon us. If you’re one of the many people who count All Hallows Eve among your favorite holidays, you likely already have your costume picked out, your best brew chilling in the fridge and the Halloween flicks all cued up on the TV in your The Victor apartment. While staying home and enjoying the spooky shows is definitely one way to mark the occasion, there are also plenty of opportunities to get out and about in nearby Philly to enjoy Halloween fun.

Here are just a few of the ways to celebrate Halloween right near home:

Haunted Old City: All this month, enjoy a series of haunted fun throughout Old City Philly, 10 minutes from your The Victor apartment. Stop by Franklin Square for the scary cool Halloween version of mini golf, with the course transformed with giant spiders, creepy music and more. Afterwards, hop onto one of the Spooky Twilight Tours being held each Friday night in October at the Betsy Ross House, where you can hear real ghost stories of the historic house and surrounding neighborhood.

Nightmare Before Tinsel: Located in the Gayborhood, 15 minutes from your The Victor apartment, this pop-up bar is a Halloween lover’s dream. Before the space transforms into the city’s annual pop-up Christmas bar, it’s gotten fully decked out for Halloween with themed lighting, decorations, drinks and more.

Ghost Tours of Philadelphia: Stroll through Old City, 10 minutes from your The Victor apartment, and stop at some of the city’s most notoriously haunted spaces. Your tour will be led by an expert guide in creepy colonial costume, adding even more mystique to the already creepy crawl. Tours leave from Signers’ Garden at Fifth and Chestnut streets.

Fall Fest at Morgan’s Pier: Through Oct. 30, head to Morgan’s Pier, right across the Delaware River from your The Victor apartment, for Fall Fest, featuring festive decorations, seasonal-themed food and drinks and plenty of Halloween fun, including a pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, live entertainment and more.
