This year’s Independence Day may look and feel a bit different—no big fireworks displays, parades or concerts. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still celebrate our nation’s biggest day in a big way! Camden is just a stone’s throw from Old City Philadelphia, where the nation itself was born. While the many historic sites and museums in the area are in varying stages of reopening, several are offering virtual experiences, including the Museum of the American Revolution. The city’s newest museum is the perfect place to mark Independence Day—as it is entirely built around the people, places and events (many local!) that led up to that momentous occasion.
